Time and Energy Management

Welcome to vTalk Toast master Club – meeting number #480

Wohooo I am so excited and thrilled , amazed to be at this 480th meeting

we are just 20 meetings away from our quin centennial #500th meeting.

DO YOU THING ALL THESE 480 MEETINGS happened so smoothly ?

I wont say it was a tough ride, but better to express that its not an easy ride

We keep facing a lot of ups and downs, crest and troughs, highs and lows, Yet Yet

we continue to keep the ball rolling

by changing the meeting time, meeting duration , inviting old members guests and what not.

All these shows that we are surviving and doing our best to thrive.

But there are also few days where we did feel the air is so heavy , we tend to cancel the meeting at last minute dismaying fellow speakers and others

Whats the cause of all these?

Well there can be myriad of reasons .

But we can club that into few factors , out of which Time and Energy management plays a crucial  role !

We are cognizant of Time management. But how about Energy management ?

Do any one manage your energy as well ?

That seems to be a place where we have to shed more light

Well even before we manage things there are few steps , prime steps to follow to yield better results.

As far as the meeting is concerned, the prime steps is to outline the agenda of the meeting for the benefit of guests and new members.

A Typical toast master meeting has 3 segments

1. Prepared speeches

2. Table Topics

3. Evaluation

But Familiar routines tends to create boredom . To spice up the meeting , To add variety to our life we are here today with a special marathon called – Evaluation Marathon,

Where There will be one speaker and all the rest are speech evaluators. Sounds intriguing ?

Apart from Speaker and Speech evaluators, few roles are indispensable for every meeting

That is  none other than GE and her TAG team

For today , there is a GE from a community club – Koramangala Toast master club.

I love the way she listed out the notable features, iconic elements of Karnataka on Kannada Rajayotsava at her home club. She is not only a treasurer , but the treasure trove of lot of motivational stories.

Here comes the confident , compassionate and ever lovely Toast master – Toast master Anitha as our General evaluator

I welcome GE to take over the stage and introduce your TAG team
<GE speaks >

Thank you for elucidating/detailing your roles and responsibilities

Now getting back to our Theme – Time and energy

Even before detailing the steps , lets question it Why ?

Why should we manage time and energy ?

A stitch in time save nine

Yes  – because most of the innovations, eye opening conversation, best decisions happens when we are energised and intentional

Time is the only currency equally distributed to all – all have got 24 hours. But how do we manage it what makes us Leaders and Legends

How about energy ?- do everyone has the same energy — Nope

But Energy is renewable . We can  deplete our energy; we can revive our energy;  save our energy; we can even spread our energy. Energy is contagious 🙂

Today we have an energetic speaker ,  Software Engineer working for ANS Division in Broadcom,  passionate about AI, spend his free time with his family and learning new things.
He is from a place known for its incredible sunrise and sunsets – Kanyakumari, Tamilnadu.

As you all are aware , on evaluation marathon ,the  speech is going to be evaluated by every toast master in this room.
Every minute counts(phrase of the day) and we are in an one hour meeting. On that note I call upon any TM randomly to read out the objectives

<Called one Toast master and He/She read the objective>

Thank you

The evaluation order would be

1

2

3

4

– I hope every one has rolled up your sleeves and geared up to listen to evaluate to elevate 🙂

Here comes our punctilious(word of the day) speaker
Toast master Sudar – Infinite Money Glitch – Toast master Sudar

<Speaker delivers his speech>

That was a power packed speech
Now to manage something we have to plan. But, we are already into a project called life . So even before planning , there is a vital step to understand the gaps of time and Energy management.

That is to Evaluate

Evaluation is Essential to Elevate , Be it a a speech / project or anything.
So now lets move on the second segment – special segment of evaluation – where all attendees of today’s meeting wear the hat of an Evaluator

Now call upon  <TM > to evaluate – <post the evaluation> – Thank You
Now call upon  <TM > to evaluate – <post the evaluation> – Thank You
Now call upon  <TM > to evaluate – <post the evaluation> – Thank You

Wow We did justice to the word Marathon 🙂
That was equally jam packed power packed, energy packed, and Time packed

Now you would definitely understand how good an evaluation can act as a catalyst to your growth
To manage anything to  accomplishment- Evaluate it

If its time management – Evaluate all your 24 hours
It its energy management – Evaluate  what energises you and what eats you

For example –
My screening time is 2 hours per day . My quality time is 1 hour per day
Which really energises me in long term ?
where do I get drained – usually at 3:00 – 400 pm I  feel sleepy

Evaluate in this way
By then we become clear headed of the gaps .
When gaps are clear and root causes are unearthed : we can easily pivot to  sense the sweet smell of success.

So evaluate it at first step and to detail the next steps of time and energy management – we shall catch up at upcoming meetings of vTalk Toast master club

Android/iPhone

A warm welcome and good afternoon fellow Toast masters and Guests.

Welcome to our vTalk meeting number #460

I got to know from DTM Sudeesh that Electronic City Toast masters Club is celebrating its quincentennial Meeting this week

What is Quincentennial ?
<Let the audience respond>

It denotes 500th occurrence

Our best wishes to Electronic city Toast masters club and I was quiet imaging how would our 500th meeting be?
<Let the audience engage>

But that’s a different story, different topic to discuss

At present it is our 460th meeting and Todays theme revolves around

iPhone / Android

How many of here are Android users <Let them raise their hands>

and how many are iPhone users.
How many are recent iPhone users from the last one year

This count takes the majority. That enticing and alluring offer of 500$ made everyone fall for it

Until then I don’t mind about iPhone. I care a little, because I would have to spend more energy to protect it from my kids, my pets and other factors.
A common factor in my observation of iPhones is people are fond of clicking high quality pictures and friends of mine would help with that .

How about you all, any difference of opinions ? or new perspective , opinions ?

Today we are going to talk and discuss about iPhone vs Android
Before diving deep into the theme, let me brief the structure of every meeting

Every Toastmasters meeting has three different parts.

  1. Prepared Speeches – where speakers prepare beforehand and deliver their speech.
  2. Table Topics (TTM) – where the Table Topics Master enlightens our thoughts and minds with impromptu questions.
  3. Evaluation – everything gets honed when thoughtfully evaluated and learned. The evaluation phase assesses the speech and the entire flow of the meeting.

For that evaluation, we have a special guest joining us today from <Toast master club name of the General Evaluator>
<General Evaluator Introduction goes here>

I welcome General evaluator to take over the stage and elucidate the roles and responsibilities and introduce your team and their respective roles and responsibilities

** General Evaluator and TAG team details their roles **

Thank you General Evaluator and TAG team players for elucidating your role and responsibilities

I would like to tell you a story. My friend is more of an analytics person. Before going for Android or iPhone, the analysis and comparison started. As obvious first step was to check the handy youtube vedios

To my surprise Most of the videos were against iPhone.

“Don’t buy iPhone for a variety of options ranging from Financial Freedom to Battery drain”

But the beauty in the mess is my friend decided to buy iPhone!

My Friend has her own way of living and she doesn’t neither give in nor be influenced by our chit chats. Her next probe is on the model!

iPhone 13, 14 15, 16 or the plus or the pro ???

We tried our best to convince her for iPhone 16

But iPhone 13 was on top of her list but bought iPhone 14.

Whyyyyy?
<Let the audience involve>

Because iPhone 13 went out of stock before she could complete analysis, and budget was her prime factor and it secured her boundaries. That’s how my friend landed on iPhone 14.
An Android user became an iPhone user.

But is there any case where an iPhone user became an Android user?
<Let audience share their story If any>

###############################################################

Now lets move on to the first phase – Prepared speeches

<Speaker 1 introduction goes here>

He is evaluated by <Name of Evaluator 1 >

<Evaluator 2 introduction goes here>.

I welcome on stage <Name of Evaluator 2> to read out the objectives of the speech.

Thank you <Name of Evaluator 2>.

I now welcome on stage our second speaker < Name of Speaker 2 > <Topic> <Topic> < Name of Speaker 2 >

**Speaker 2 delivers the speech **
<Have some words of appreciation for speaker21 on the points that you were able to connect with the speech >

Wonderful featured speeches are delivered
Now tell me What features of Android serves you a lot .

Does that work in iPhone ?

What feature pf iPhone serves you a lot

Does that work in Android??

<Create the space for audience to voice out their mind and go with the flow for 2 to 3 minutes>

Lets move on to exciting phase of Toast master meeting – Table Topics Segment.

<Table topics master intro goes here>

I welcome the Table topics master of today to take over the stage and enlighten with your questions

** Table topic master elucidates the role and conducts Table topics**
Thank you Table topics master <name> for giving a tap on our thoughts

##################################################

We talked about features before starting Table topics.

Now lets discuss, Which feature that u loved in android doesn’t work in iPhone ?

Which feature you loved in iPhone doesn’t work in Android?

<Let the audience speak out>

Awesome discussion
All model be it iPhone/Android comes with its own cost and there is always a space for improvement.

The CONS side includes the

The fare on all online platform OLA , UBER, RAPIDO for iPhone users.

Its quiet more compared to Android users

Everything has its own pros and cons

Every product, every human being, everything in this universe has its own pluses and minuses.

Now, to understand the pluses and minuses of our session, we are moving to the third phase of the meeting — Evaluation.

I call upon our General Evaluator (GE) to evaluate the meeting.

** General Evaluator and TAG team reports their observation, shares constructive feedback and areas of improvement **

Thank you General Evaluator

Be it iPhone or Android, we all need eyes — eyes with perfect vision to see, to indulge in experiences, and to enjoy life.

But are we truly taking good care of our eyes? Staring at a Mac, monitor, laptop, and other screens really takes a toll on them.

Do you take good care of your eyes?

Do you know what acts as the dopamine for our retina?

The everyday rising sun is the dopamine of our retina. It improves our health. Spending just 10 minutes in the early morning sun strengthens your nerves and improves your eyesight.

Amidst all the efforts you take to flourish and thrive in everyday life, take these 10 minutes at sunrise to lead a healthier life, to make better use of your Androids or iPhones, and to live a better life.

With that, I hand over the session to our President for the closing note.

MINUS

Good afternoon fellow Toast masters and Guests
Welcome to our vTalk toast master meeting number #440

We are at the last month of 2024.

What has been so special about 2024 with regards to every one of us here?

<Wait for audience to respond and then advocate for the event you have in your mind. By that time it was Toast master 100th year celebration.
Centennial celebration – Encompassing event – Yeah tomorrow we have F cube
Fun , Festivities & Food>

Make sure to get an immersive experience as it will take another 100 years for this centennial to happen

The other uniqueness of 2024 includes

1 year with (Common milestone for VMware employees)- – Absolutely there has been a lot of uncertainties sticking around with us.

With god’s grace and our support system  we have successfully accomplished 1-year milestone

Through out this journey We come across so many circumstances, so many peoples and so many stories

Just like life, Mathematics is also loaded with so many operators  +, – , *, division, integration and what not.

What is your top pick out of these operators and why ?

what’s your number one choice and why ?

Which operator resonates with you the most and why ?

<Wait for the audience to respond. Obviously, everyone would be fond of  + and *>

It makes evident – everyone appreciates the +, few have soft spot for multiplication.

No one is drawn to minus/ division ?

These general choices, and universal appeal have always excited me to question why do need a minus then?

It’s well known that everyone
aims to grow;
wishes to succeed;
wants to make a meaningful impact;
strives to find meaning and happiness in our journey

We always seek fulfilment and aim to leave a lasting legacy.

Then how could this minus play a role ??

Before shedding light on our theme “Minus” today” I would like to outline the agenda of every Toast master meeting

Every Toast master meeting has 3 segment

  1. Prepared speeches – Where Speakers prepare their speeches before hand and Perform
  2. Table Topics speeches – Where our guest and everyone can volunteer to speak
  3. Evaluation and Feedback – To identify our strength and areas of improvement

For this evaluation and feedback we have Toast master <General Evaluator’s name and club details if they are from different club>

(General Evaluator Introduction goes here)

I request Toast master <GE’s name> to take over the dais and introduce yourself, your role and your TAG team players

<GE takes over the stage, details the role, introduces the TAG team one by one and they elucidate their role>

Thank you General Evaluator and TAG team players for getting into the details of your roles

2024 holds a notable and remarkable place in my Diary.
It was new to have nomadic experience through out the year. You know why ?

Yes just because swiping our attendance at office is mandatory. I started travelling more. One such Friday I was travelling via electric train.

Fringes of people boarded the train with me. Many were busy scrolling the reels, watching the youtube vedio, chit chatting, buying and selling, bargaining and all sort of actions were going on in the electric train. Imagine how noisy it would be .

I got a call from my friend. I was supposed to communicate one important info to my friend via the call. Is it a conducive environment for communication?

No!!

Anyone will be worried in that scene.

But there I noticed a person who was so happily communicating to the person at other end.

Communication was so seamless

How could this happen ?

How could someone be so productive in an unproductive environment ?

Before we ponder on How, we will move into the first segment of the Toast masters meeting.

That is prepared speeches
<Speaker 1>

Our first speaker for today is TM <Name of the Speaker 1>

He will be evaluated by TM <Name of Evaluator 1> from <club name if they are from diff club>

She will be evaluated by <Name of Evaluator 2>

<Evaluator2 intro goes here>

I request <Name of Evaluator 2> to detail the evaluation criteria for our Speaker 2

Thank you <Name of Evaluator 2>

<Name of Speaker 2> <Topic> <Topic> <Name of Speaker 2>

*** Speaker 2 delivers the speech ***

Thank you <Name of Speaker 2>

<Have some words of appreciation on the speech delivered by Speaker 2>

Coming back to our commutation scene

How could some person communicate without hiccups in that hostile environment?

<Let audience get engaged here with their responses>

Reality is – the person was deaf and dumb.
It was a vedio call they were communicating via sign language.

There was holistic happiness in their face. No complaints about the impairments.

Do we really spend a day without complaints? No!  We keep talking more about the things that were cut, removed, and taken away from us

But remember one thing, When the Supreme Power grants you a minus –  he also minus the noise associated with it, leaving you a considerable space to remain happy and productive.

My dear Toast masters – This is the lesson I learnt during that travel.
Whenever you think almighty/Nature has taken away, did a minus of any of ur belongings,

count all other possible minuses that has been taken away and contemplate on the plans to enrich youreslf

This is one scene, where the Supreme Power/ Almighty/ Nature takes away a minus.

Consider another situation where you are given a minus!

Like an annoying friend, pestering partner, nagging parent, overbearing relative , demanding boss, intrusive colleague etc

What would be the first human mentality?

When god bless with you such a minus ?

instead of fighting this rat race, there is one better, smart approach to tackle with this minus offered.

Before diving into that approach let’s move on to the next segment of our Toast master segment – Table topics.

Today’s Table topics master is <Name and intro of Table Topics master>

to conduct the table topics

***TTM Conducts the Table topics***

Thank you <Name of the TTM>

Back to our minus

You have a minus in your plate, we often tend to react, outburst, get demotivated

But that’s not the rationale behind offering you a minus.

The minus offered to you is to take away the minus from you

you can minus your procrastination with a demanding boss

you can minus your bad habits with a nagging parent

you can minus your loneliness/boredom/stress with an annoying friend

Always remember this cardinal or thumb rule, Minuses are not meant to put you down

u can put down the minus by let go of your other minuses

and That’s why we shout out the math as -*- = ?
<Audience would respond – Plus 😊>

On that note lets seek our General Evaluator to identify our Minus, provide feedback to improve it to a “+”

*** General Evaluator and TAG team shares their report and Feedback ***

Thank you General Evaluator and TAG team members

<Conclusion>

During one of my camping experience, a guest speaker made us aware the significance of “-“

Even, during our day to day life in this tenure, there was a minus in our resources,

but we invented ways to handle and yes we are able to make it up.
Gradually we streamlined the workflows

This makes it clear – it is preposterous to contemplate minus as a problem

Minus is an opportunity

Minus is a blessing in disguise

Minus is meant to bring out the best in you

WHEN WE CUT DOWN OUR UNNECESSARY

Having that in mind, Lets embrace the minus happily and make it a plus .

Ultimately Life is all yours and the power to change it lies within you

With that I hand over the stage to our President for closing notes

Master of Ceremony Script 7

Do you know about yourself ???

<Presiding officer introduces the Toast master of the day> <1.5 hour meeting with 2 speakers in Prepared speech segment>

Well that was an incredible introduction.
Our president gave a very good note , an intro about our club.
He imparted knowledge about Toast masters international, vour club – vTalk Toast masters.
Now tell me How far has our vTalk endured the legacy

How far have come up in years ?
<Let the audience respond based on what they listened>
Good 13 years

Questions are the secret ingredients that spice up any discussion.
That’s how today’s theme is also a question.
Do you know about yourself ?

A deep, thought provoking, insightful , introspective question

With today’s cutting edge technologies and life changing dynamics, what would you do when you are posed with a question ?
<Let the audience engage>

Exactly everyone have access to the world wide web and we are fond of reaching out the Gen AI, search engines.I tried asking the question to two different  Gen AI and got two different responses !

But they could not define us rightly.
Its our introspection.
And that’s not a one step process and its a series of small steps to discover the You and know about yourself

Are you all geared up to introspect ?
<Let the audience respond with guestures or verbally>
Ok. Here goes the step 1

  1. Lets go one by one .I am sure that everyone of us here has a minimum of 25 years in this world as of now. So we should know something about us. Lets bring out that , lets voice out that , lets hear that loud

Lets go one by one. where everyone will describe you in 2/3 words or adjectives that you know about yourself ? Ready?
<Go for a round of responses hearing from every person>

So at present you know a little about yourself. Will this going to be constant or stagnant for the rest of the life you live on this earth ?
Never !
So knowing about yourself is not a one step process.
Its a journey to be taken at every different season, at every phase of life to rediscover you and invent the new

Before delving deep into the journey of knowing about yourself ,
lets know how every toast master meeting is organised

Every Toast master meeting has 3 sections

  1. Prepared speeches – Where Speakers prepare their speeches before hand and Perform
    2. Table Topics speeches – Where our guest and everyone can volunteer to speak
    3. Evaluation and Feedback – To identify our strength and areas of improvement

For this evaluation and feedback we have

<GE introduction goes here>
<GE comes on stage introduces his role * TAG team, TAG team details their roles>

Thank You GE and TAG team players for giving crystal clear view of your roles.
Lets get started with out first segment – Prepared speeches.
Our first speaker is

<Speaker introduction goes here>
Speaker is evaluated by a toast master <Evaluator introduction goes here>
I welcome on stage <Name of Evaluator 1> to read out the objectives of the speech
<Evaluator reads the objectives>
Thank You <Name of Evaluator>

I welcome on stage our first speaker
< Name of Speaker 1> <Topic> <Topic>< Name of Speaker 1>

Our second speaker is

I welcome on stage <Name of Evaluator 1> to read out the objectives of the speech
<Evaluator reads the objectives>
Thank You <Name of Evaluator>

I welcome on stage our second speaker
< Name of Speaker 2> <Topic> <Topic>< Name of Speaker 1>
<Speaker 1 delivers the speech>
<Few thoughts on the speakers view and words of appreciation goes here>

#second segment

At the first segment we did use one or two adjectives to describe what we know about our self.
Knowing about yourself , doesn’t only mean knowing about your good and bad. The profound answer is knowing about your eternal goal,  your purpose on this planet.

But often when we are in the step of knowing about our self  there comes many distractions, which limit us from going forward. What would be those limitations ?

Now again lets reflect whats our limitations? whats really holding back from moving forward, what is that one stopping factor of yours . Give it a food for your thought for a while

And lets get into the second segment.
We have our Table topic master <TTM intro goes here >
<Table topic master elucidates the role and conducts Table topics>
Thank you Table topics master <name> for those insightful questions

Getting back,
If we deeply reflect on our limitation factor,  it will boil down to “unwillingness to change”, we are not willing to adapt, we keep longing for what we dont have and that’s the distraction , that’s the limiting factor in finding out our purpose , aligning our actions with our purpose

How to fix that ???

Before figuring out that . Lets figure out how we fared at the meeting by listening to our General Evaluator and TAG team

I welcome back the General Evaluator to the dais to evaluate the entire meeting.
** General Evaluator and TAG team reports their observation, shares constructive feedback and areas of improvement **
Thank you General Evaluator and TAG team

Now lets figure out how to fix the limitation that is  holding us back
This book  “You can heal your life ” (I am showing the book)  has one awesome principle .
The  principle involves an object which everyone of us has. That’s a mandatory / indispensable object in every one’s life. But we have never grasped the real magnitude of it, the impact that it can create in our life ?

Guess that obj ?
<Lets the audience engage>

Itssss – The Mirror.
Yes , get on to the mirror
Tell to you “I am willing to change , whatever changes I face – they are all my stepping stone.
Tell to you “Everything happens in the divine right order”
Tell to you “All good things come to me”
Tell to you ” I am putting down my limitations , I am willing to change”

This would help you to move towards finding the right purpose , revisit the purpose and understand if you are really clinging on to the right purpose and make you move forward with ease

So next time you see the mirror will you just groom your outer self only ? what would you say ?
and that’s how we got to know about our self , our purpose and our path forward 🙂

And when we practice this, We understand, We get to know about our self , embrace the right attitude and soar like an Eagle .

With this I would like to hand over to the presiding officer for closing remarks
Thank you

Journey towards 500th meeting

#This is a 1 hour meeting, where TMOD has got to talk a little . and its a 1 prepared speaker only and TTM , Evaluation segment

<I am the president and TMOD>

Thank you SAA for setting the right tone of the meeting. I feel the goose bumps and super excited.
Welcome fellow club members, Toast masters of other clubs.
Welcome to meeting number #487

Today’s meeting is special for two different reasons.
One – We have the room full despite the long weekend ahead
Two – Today I am playing a dual role – President and MC

Let me leverage the 5 mins of president and 5  mins of Master of ceremony  and take you through the journey of toast masters and our Journey to 500th meeting

Before we get engrossed into our meeting let me happily set the meeting #487 to order.
Well ; A Journey , Journey to 500th meeting .

As soon as you hear the word journey what comes to your mind?
<Let audience engage>

To me journey and nature are synonymous .
Both gives you various number of sights to see, feel and enjoy

With nature, my mind frames a picture filled with animals.
Lets take a cow and bison for example. Hope you should have seen both of them in many occasions

There is a beautiful analogy about cow and bison.
Both are animals – almost from the same family, yet they are different by their approaches on how do they weather the storm. Cows have been observed to move away from the storm , along the direction of the wind. When the storm eventually catches up , cows end up bearing the brunt of the storm , struggle and continue to be under the weather.

Whereas Bison are observed to move towards the storm, they move into the wind which means when the storm catches up, they are passing through it and end up getting out quicker .

So what do we infer from this.
Basically there are two mindsets .

**One is Cow mindset  – avoid the bad, moving away from the bad, not ready to face it, not taking ownership**

**The other is Bison mindset – understanding the bad, acknowledging the bad, approach the with a sheer belief that there is light at the end of the tunnel**

Every toast master embodies the Bison mindset , we are aware that we have stage fear, we get butterflies on stage; yet we get on to stage and learn the techniques to mange better and yes we pass through  the stage fear gradually

Not only Toast masters, this applies to all successful organization flourishing in the world.
All successful people of today were once struggling , yet they keep pushing the needle and make it

That’s how Toast master community has also weathered a lot of storms and its now 101 years old , spreading across 144 countries with over more than 16000 clubs. In that big community our vTalk is a small club yet its also equally strong to stand tall navigating any number of uncertainties with unwavering bison mindset , relentlessly yielding a lot great speakers and leaders.

To give a brief – our vTalk is now marching towards its 14th anniversary in few months and
and and and <Audience fill the gap by telling 500th meeting>

yeah 500th meeting.
Before getting into the various sights of our journey to 500th meeting

**Let us get to know our guests .**

**We have a guest from <TMC>. Give them a warm welcome and pass on the stage to them to hear a few words about them and their journey in toast masters**
< engaging with the guests> <Thank them>

#Above are  all part of my presidential address

For the benefit of the guests and everyone, let me outline how every toast master meeting look like
It has 3 segments

No:1 The prepared speeches (Loaded with Powerful speeches)
No:2 TTM (Loaded with Spontaneous speeches)
No:3 Evaluation (Loaded with Constructive feed backs)

For evaluation we have

<GE introduction goes here>
<GE comes on stage introduces his role * TAG team, TAG team details their roles>

Thank You GE and TAG team players for giving crystal clear view of your roles

As everyone here embodies that courageous , strong and unstoppable Bison mindset, lets cheer them by shouting out their name three times with a thunderous clap as they get on to the stage

In this journey the first sight we are going to have is the Hindsight.
What happened at the very first meeting, how was it , what  were the emotions filling up the first vTalk meeting.
<One of our chartered members mentioned that there was a mild tremor during the meeting>

Before we move on to the next sight we have a speaker today

<Speaker introduction goes here>
Speaker is evaluated by a toast master <Evaluator introduction goes here>
I welcome on stage <Name of Evaluator 1> to read out the objectives of the speech
<Evaluator reads the objectives>
Thank You <Name of Evaluator 1>

I welcome on stage our first speaker
< Name of Speaker 1> <Topic> <Topic>< Name of Speaker 1>
<Speaker 1 delivers the speech>
<Few thoughts on the speakers view and words of appreciation goes here>

Now its time for the second segment and the next sight
The next sight of our journey is about Insights.

To gain those insights , here comes Table topic master to trigger your impromptu, effective and spontaneous communication.

We have our Table topic master <TTM intro goes here >
<Table topic master elucidates the role and conducts Table topics>
Thank you Table topics master <name> for those insightful questions

Finally we are into the third segment –  Evaluation.
“Be it any milestone — when it’s around the corner, our quality steps up.”

Glimpses of Crescendo’25

A warm welcome and good afternoon fellow toast masters

Welcome to vTalk meeting number #461

<Intro>

How are you all doing ,

How was your vacations. Everyone was taking their turns to enjoy this summer

Where did you go ?

<Let the audience respond>

Well my vacation was planned at cradle of indian banking.
A place known for its historical significance – for the development of several prominent banks – Canara Bank, Syndicate Bank, Corporation Bank, Vijaya Bank , Karnataka Bank particularly Dakshina Kannada District.
Are you able to figure out my place of vacation?

<Let the audience respond. Allow one or 2 points to stem from that discussion  if required to make it lively and engaging >

 Its Mangalore
Apart form the banks Mangalore is also  known for its beaches, sea foods, wide roads , tropical climate, good culture and the Tulu language

But my plan to Manglore was for a different cause.
CRESCENDO’25  – The word crescendo literally means “Peak of loudness, Gradual increase to Loudness”

The more striking info for us as Toast masters of district 121 is – CRESCENDO is the annual conference of district 121

<First segment>

Before we run through the crescendo events, let me brief the events of every toast master meeting for the benefit of guests and new members

Every toast master meeting has 3 diff sections

No:1 The prepared speeches (Loaded with Powerful speeches)
No:2 TTM (Loaded with Spontaneous speeches)
No:3 Evaluation (Loaded with Constructive feedbacks)

 For evaluation we have our own toast master from vTalk today

<GE introduction goes here>
<GE comes on stage introduces his role * TAG team, TAG team details their roles>

Thank You GE and TAG team players for giving crystal clear view of your roles
Now lets push the backdrop to Crescendo events for a while
What usually happens at Annual Conference ?
<Let audience respond>

We have special , incredible, insightful Key note speech, activities where we learn through gamification.
We felicitate, celebrate the achievers for their outstanding work through out the year.
We have three contests – Evaluation , TT, and ISC – international speech contest happening

 So if you look at our District 121. It comprises of 10 divisions
Divisions A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J
We are from Division ?
<Let audience respond, if the response was not confident – Make it loud that vTalk belongs to Division E)
There are 4 areas at every division , and we are from Area 3
An area can comprise of n number of clubs

 When a speech contest is conducted at club level, we get our winners to compete with winners of every other club and they advance to Area level contest

Winners of Every Area compete at Division level and the Topper of every division will make their pride way to the stage of District 121.
District 121 stage – is a big stage where winner of every division – altogether 10 winners climb the stage to get their speech heard.

 It was Toast master Radha BK from Our Area 3, Division E – E3
There are 4 areas in division E.

The winners of every area E1,E2,E3,E4 competed at  Division level contest  and again RADHA BK won out of the 4 contestants and she represented DIVISION E

Similarly there will be winners of every division – totally 10 contestants competeing at the district 121 conference  – CRESCENDO

Winners of the district-level International Speech Contest advance to the quarterfinal stage,
Winners of the quarterfinal stage advance to the semifinals.
Winners of the semifinals are then invited to the World Championship of Public Speaking.

 Every toast master  meeting is a chance for a speaker to hone their skills and rise up to the occasion of World championship.

and today we have a speaker
<Speaker introduction goes here>
Speaker is evaluated by a toast master <Evaluator introduction goes here>
I welcome on stage <Name of Evaluator 1> to read out the objectives of the speech
<Evaluator reads the objectives>
Thank You <Name of Evaluator 1>

I welcome on stage our first speaker
< Name of Speaker 1> <Topic> <Topic>< Name of Speaker 1>
<Speaker 1 delivers the speech>
<Few thoughts on the speakers view and words of appreciation goes here>

<Second segment>

Now tell me , Have you ever watched 10 different movies by  same same title?
<This invigorates the audience and create some space for them to interact>

The next engaging contest at CRESCENDO is TABLE TOPICS CONTEST.
Every toast master meeting offers unique question to every Table topics speaker

But at Crescendo, its one and only Question or Table topic.
All 10 winners of the division contest has to think on their feet and speak their heart and mind about that one and only table topic

That’s such an enriching experience to watch 10 different movies of same title
back to back on same stage but by different speakers.

You have to wait for just 12 months to wintness that table topic and for today.
We have our Table topic master <TTM intro goes here >

 <Table topic master elucidates the role and conducts Table topics>
Thank you Table topics master <name> for those insightful questions

<Third segment>
Its time for the third segment.
Have you ever heard 10 diff reviews, constructive reviews of a movie after watching it 😊
That sounds dramatic for movies because we need the review before watching the movie as it helps in saving our precious time.
Wheres the reviews post speeches help us to sport our blindspots and improve them.
10 such Evaluations happen for the same speech at the crescendo as it is a contest.
Our context today is yet another engaging meeting.
Here comes our GE to evaluate our meeting right from the start.

 I welcome back the General Evaluator to the dais to evaluate the entire meeting.
** General Evaluator and TAG team reports their observation, shares constructive feedback and areas of improvement **

Thank you General Evaluator

<Conclusion>
Well now you would have got the glimpse of Cresendo.
I just helped you with the 3 contests conducted on the stages of Crescendo.
There is lot more engaging, interesting and enriching happening on its stages.
Do make sure to attend these events and rejuvenate

 With that I hand over to our president for closing remarks

Believe It or Not

Above all else I believe in Integrity
I believe that Thoughts turn into reality
and I believe in Morality

Good afternoon Fellow toast masters and Guests
Welcome to our vTalk Toast master meeting
I am delighted to have so many people joining us today .

This proves that beyond the realm of any reasons , we all want to hone our Leadership and communication skills through Toast master meeting
As our presiding officer mentioned we were conducting meetings with very few members
You believe it or not The relentless commitment of every member , the steadfast belief that we can grow has brought us so far and has also earned us a lot of credits and awards

Before we head into the theme , I want to outline the structure of Toast master meeting

Our theme Today is : Believe it or not

 With the surge in technology , AI and ML be the buzzing word I am sure everyone would have tried to chat with any Generative AIs . They are simply superb. They are able to generate a well articulated response , give a summary of a content , help you in troubleshooting,
help you in preparing your speech and what not

Having said that , tell me whom do u believe to be smarter ?
Humans or Gen AI ?

<I didn’t expect the response was favouring AI !!!!>
I was much intrigued and curious to ask the same question to Claude.

Claude is a conversational AI owned by Anthropic
Claude responded with a prompt answer . Hold your horses.  Before diving into that I would like to introduce our General Evaluator of today’s meeting

<GE introduction and TAG team introduction goes here>

 Thank You GE and TAG team players for detailing your roles
Now tell me whats your guess on claude’s response

<Let the audience respond> <My audience responded that Claude would Point us humans as smarter >

Exactly !
Claude admitted that humans are super smarter because we Humans have genuine intelligence, can make intuitive leaps and creative connections

GENAI could be faster in calculation or data processing but that’s just computational power and not true intelligence

Humans have wisdom, judgement and intuition that no gen AI can match.

 Do you agree with this ?
<Finally humans nodded, agreed with an YES>

Yes
Its preposterous to think that

AI is smarter, AI would replace humans, AI would rule the world

 If you rewind – AIs are created by us. Invariably We humans are always powerful and smarter.
All that matters is whether We believe it or not .

 Here comes our first speaker
<Speaker 1 introduction goes here. And the introduction is adapted with the theme -He believes in *>

Guess Who ?
<Let audience respond>

Yes Our first speaker is <>
He is evaluated by <Name of Evaluator 1 >
<Evaluator 1 introduction goes here. Adapted the introduction with the beliefs of the Evaluator 1>.

I welcome on stage <Name of Evaluator 1> to read out the objectives of the speech
<Evaluator reads the objectives>

Thank You <Name of Evaluator 1>

I welcome on stage our first speaker
< Name of Speaker 1> <Topic> <Topic>< Name of Speaker 1>

**Speaker  1 delivers the speech **
<Have some words of appreciation for speaker 1 on the points that you were able to relate with the speech >

Our Next speaker
<Speaker 2 introduction goes here>

He is evaluated by <Name of Evaluator 2>
<Evaluator 2 introduction goes here>.

 I welcome on stage <Name of Evaluator 2> to read out the objectives of the speech.

 Thank you <Name of Evaluator 2>.

 Now welcome on stage our second speaker
< Name of Speaker 2 > <Topic> <Topic> < Name of Speaker 2 >

**Speaker 2 delivers the speech **
<Have some words of appreciation for Speaker2 on the points that you were able to connect with the speech >

Whether you believe it or not, Story has immense power to shape our mindset.
I would like to tell you a short story about a Legend who took India to greater heights

By early 19th century there lived a prominent Industrialist Mr.Ambalal at Gujarat.
Mr.Ambalal paved the way for the Montessori model school to debut in India.

 Anyone aware of his full name ?
<Let the audience think and connect>

He is Mr.Ambalal Sarabhai. And his son went on to become one of India’s greatest scientists
<Pause , smile – Audience would definitely respond>

Dr.Vikram Sarabhai

 Let me take you back to Vikram Sarabhai’s childhood.
As a young boy, Vikram noticed something.Every day, his father would receive many letters, Important letters, Business letters.

Little Vikram watched this closely.
And he thought—
“My father receives so many letters…
Why don’t I?”
(pause – Let audience also think)

Do you know what he did?
He began writing letters to himself, addressing himself as a renowned person and posted them.

Its just a small and simple act made out of curiosity but underpinned by a steadfast belief
That belief, the love for continuous  learning and exploration brought out the scientist in him and he is our Father of Indian space program.

Whether you believe it or not , believing in you is the first step to success.
With that let us move on to the next part of our Toast master meeting

– TABLE TOPICS

 Today we have a Toast master

who believes in < TTM intro goes here>

I welcome the Table topics master of today to take over the stage and enlighten with your questions

** Table topic master elucidates the role and conducts Table topics**
Thank you Table topics master <name> for those insightful questions

whether we believe or not , whatever you believe is going to turn into reality
The belief we hold shapes the actions we take.
Spotting a bumpy path if you think, believe you would slip and fall flat, definitely you will
whereas if you think, believe that path can be navigated with care, then definitely you will

Whether you believe it or not, Your thoughts and believes turn real.
Reality may not be neatly framed as how you believed but the essence of your belief is the reality

 So lets always believe the best and leave the rest .

On that note, lets move on to the third part of our meeting. Evaluation and Feedback

I welcome back the General Evaluator to the dais to evaluate the entire meeting.

** General Evaluator and TAG team reports their observation, shares constructive feedback and areas of improvement **

Thank you General Evaluator

<Conclusion>

The Bird that dares to leap knows the strength of the wings.

This means, Self discovery and potential can be realized only when we believe and act on it

Take away is simple
Belief comes only from doing and not by just thinking

When you dare to leap, try to attempt, challenge yourself – we discover our new self, unleash the dormant power, unlock the hidden possibilities and the entire sky becomes ours 😊

Now tell me who all believe that u can take up the master of ceremony in coming weeks?
<People smile and sign up for sure>

That is the spirit. Kudos to everyone
With that I handover to our President for closing remarks

Tales of Wit and Wisdom

A warm welcome and good afternoon fellow Toast masters and Guests

Welcome to our vTalk meeting number 451

We are at Feb 28 of this year 2025

Lets take a moment to reflect back on the important events of February

· First day started with COTP – training

· Valetine day

· vTalk club Open house

· Maha Shivaratri

· Maha Kumbh mela

February has been a month of continuous learning, indulging in diverse experiences and the list goes on .

Whatever we do now is just a recall. but what if we go one step further and reflect.

What went good , what went wrong, how can we make that right ?

Embracing a reflective mindset enables us to learn extensively, identify potential pitfalls, bridge gaps, and attain wisdom gradually.

There is no one epiphany or super dramatic moment that draws wisdom to us in one shot.

Wisdom actually comes from following different pursuits and thoughtfully considering our learnings

However, can we truly immerse ourselves in all possible pursuits / experiences?
Art is long, and life is short. Therefore, we must find ways to fast forward, accelerate our learning. One effective method is by connecting with stories. The wisdom lies in learning from others’ mistakes, understanding their stories, and drawing valuable lessons from their experiences and lives.

That’s how today we are going to gain some wisdom from the great tales of wit .

Before expanding on today’s theme, let me brief the structure of every Toast master meeting

Every Toastmasters meeting has three different parts.

Prepared Speeches – where speakers prepare beforehand and deliver their speech.
Table Topics (TTM) – where the Table Topics Master enlightens our thoughts and minds with impromptu questions.
Evaluation – everything gets honed when thoughtfully evaluated and learned. The evaluation phase assesses the speech and the entire flow of the meeting.
For that evaluation, we have a special guest joining us today from

I welcome General evaluator to take over the stage and elucidate the roles and responsibilities and introduce your team and their respective roles and responsibilities

** General Evaluator and TAG team details their roles **

Thank you General Evaluator and TAG team players for elucidating your role and responsibilities

Lets return back to our theme – “Tales of wit and wisdom”

What kind of stories pops up in your mind
Which tale resonate better with you in regards to today’s theme?

Awesome!
You know I feel very reluctant that I missed ages by not reading any tales/stories during my school days.

But will regret help ?

To keep the regret out of the bay I started reflecting and am super happy to start over. I have started reading books to narrate to kids

I take an opportunity in this meeting to narrate again the stories that imparted wit and wisdom to me

Story1:
How Birbal and King Akbar bumped into each other ? Any idea about their first meet ?

Akbar loved to hunt animals. Once, after a hunting trip, he lost his way back to Delhi. As he and his soldiers tried to find the right path, they stumbled upon a small village. Unsure of which way to go, they decided to ask for directions.

They saw a man named “Mahesh Das,” who seemed very innocent. Akbar and his soldiers asked him, “Will this way take us to Delhi?” To their surprise, Mahesh Das began laughing hilariously.

Akbar, puzzled by his reaction, asked, “Why are you laughing?”

Mahesh Das replied, still chuckling,

No road will take you . You should only take the road to reach Delhi

This sounds like a standup comedy . But the vital element here is presence of mind

Impressed by his wit and presence of mind, Akbar realized that Mahesh Das was no ordinary villager. He invited Mahesh Das to join his court, where he later became known as the wise and clever Birbal, one of Akbar’s most trusted advisors.

The wisdom that I Gained is

As a leader , As a communicator , As a speaker we have to speak clearly and concisely putting the write words in.

Whether u r communicating with Human / LLM / Humanoid, your instructions has got to be precise to get the work done at right time

With is wisdom, lets dive into our first segment of prepared speeches

Story 2:

Switching our focus back to the Tales of wit and wisdom

So many advisors adorned the court of king Akbar, yet Birbal has been the most eminent.
Do you know how ?

I would share another story where other advisor tried to beat Birbal.

One evening, Emperor Akbar, his trusted advisor Birbal, and a new advisor were strolling through the royal gardens. They came across a donkey which was tasting a mouthful of tobacco and immediately recoiled in disgust

The new advisor, eager to impress Akbar and undermine Birbal commented “Your Majesty!
Even Donkey doesn’t like the tobacco that Birbal is fond of”

If you are in the shoes of Birbal how would you respond ?

Birbal’s retort was “Indeed Majesty! Donkeys dislikes the tobacco that I cherish which simply implies that few things are well beyond the comprehension of donkeys!”

From that witty response it dawned upon me, Birbal’s aim has never been to impress the Emperor but to give his best shot in everything he do and that’s how he has been the most trusted advisor

With that learning Lets move on to exciting phase of Toast master meeting – Table Topics Segment.

I welcome the Table topics master of today to take over the stage and enlighten with your questions** Table topic master elucidates the role and conducts Table topics**
Thank you Table topics master for those insightful questionsStory 3:From the tale of wit and wisdom its evident that Birbal possessed exceptional ability.The ability stems from his mindset to grasp the big picture, keenly understanding the nuances and intricacies involved. Birbal has a flair for reasoning and rationalizing everything by delving deeper to comprehend better than others.My dear fellow toast masters and guests – The best lesson I drew on reading these if you want to excel – understand the big pictureTo get us the big picture of how we fared in Today’s meeting, here comes our General Evaluator and Team with their reports to help us understand our thick and thins, ways to improve our thin to thickI welcome back the General Evaluator to the dais to give the big picture of the meeting** General Evaluator and TAG team reports their observation, shares constructive feedback and areas of improvement **Thank you General Evaluator
last but not least, every relationship faces hardships and silent conflicts. There were numerous instances when Akbar condemned Birbal and barred him from attending court. During these times, Birbal remained silent, creating a void that eventually made Akbar realize Birbal’s wisdom and correctness on many occasions.In essence wisdom lies in maintaining a calm mind during tough times, never giving up, and continuing to move forward. Silence can be a powerful tool, often bridging gaps more effectively than words.
Be wise – choose words and silence appropriately for better and long-lasting relationshipsWith that I hand over the stage to our president for closing remarks

Pathway Presentation mastery : Level 4 – Elective: Building a social media presence

cbhmagic

Stop it !!! Enough!!!!

This is how my parents yelled at me and caught me off guard when I logged into Orkut.That’s a social media of  2009.
Those yelling faded away my interest. When everyone was engrossed into the book, the only book – Facebook, I didn’t! When the COVID was at its peak, everyone was socially interacting through Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook. But I didn’t! Because I have an aim that my baby, my toddler by then, should never be addicted to any electronic gadgets.

Years rolled by. My toddler started growing up as a kid. But I was growing down in my communication and socialisation skills. It would be better to say that I was the queen of the Crutch words by then. I was in desperate need to improve.

Boom!

Broadcom acquired VMware.
All employees back to full force at the office, five days mandatory.
That was a blessing in disguise. I channelised my energy,  my time towards growth, upskill and my transformational journey started through… Toastmasters (Waited for the Audience to respond Toast masters).

Right, My journey commenced well with vTalk Toastmasters. I was amazed, moved by the different speeches, the body languages, confidence and the vocabulary that every speaker in our club was bringing to the table. I was also happy to grow along with them. Did reach out to many people to understand the mantra behind articulating my thoughts.  All mantras  boiled down to one act:
“Just pen down your thoughts”.

Yes, penning down my thoughts, I was able to recollect my old days when many were fond of the Retrospection  that I shared with them towards the end of the year.

“Good. CBH, why don’t you create a website or  a blog for you?” I asked myself.

Website? Isn’t that a big huge milestone for an introvert?

Whatever it is milestone or small stone- I felt the need to warm-up. I have to familiarise myself with social media, digital communications and so. Instagram was the first shot. But somehow it got delayed to create an account. By then vTalk celebrated me for achieving my first milestone, Level-1 completion in LinkedIn. Only then I understood, ohhh I have a LinkedIn account.

Okay, I have something up and running. Why don’t I use that?

December 6, 2024. I took my first leap. What’s so special about December 6?
It was my day and I was the toastmaster of the day as well. I wanted to share the droplets of wisdom to the entire world that I conveyed during the meeting. I penned down my thoughts and I was ready to click that “Post” button in LinkedIn. And I remember how my reactions were.
I was nervous!
I felt chill as if there was an iceberg on me.

That one click is going to open the world, is going to open the communication door between me and the world. There were a lot of butterflies in my stomach. I was about to click. I clicked and immediately  closed the laptop and just hided under the table. And slowly I peeped out and closed my ears tightly. Felt like I  triggered an atom bomb. Because it’s about to create a noise from my friends, from my colleagues, as that was my first post in LinkedIn in my life. But nothing happened… No reaction…

I asked myself , “Did I really click that post? Did it reach the world?” I don’t know!
Alas! I was not able to spot that post in LinkedIn.

No matter, the CBH in me is resilient. The resilient CBH bounced back again at Feb 2, 2025. Do anyone remember? I highlighted and honoured our COTP program that happened on Feb 2. This time I ensured that I clicked the post button and yes, eventually got some likes, impressions and followers as well. After a lot of contemplation I  have got into the world of fresh air, better communication. But I have to make it often.

Why don’t I take a plunge to improve the frequency of my post? This project, building the social media presence, made me aware that respecting and responding to the comments on your posts is equally important to build that presence. This enabled me to view others’ posts, share my ideas, understand others’ perspectives and it also introduced me to a lot of people, like-minded people and the conversations with them enriched me, keeps me in high spirit more than the likes and the impressions.

Yes, my dear fellow Toastmasters, like Everyone, I had the same  notion that social media is full of likes, followers. But beyond that, there is something which helps us to understand ourselves. This building the social media presence,  builds you, it discovers you, it engages you with a lot of like-minded people.

And it did not stop there. Two major highlights, two major stunning events that happened recently are:

1. The prime one is, I volunteered with a long-standing Toastmaster of Chennai, DTM Saro Velrajan. I’m very happy to introduce myself as the co-founder of Speakers High, a non-profit organization, a speaking fraternity that helps students to bring down the fear and boost up their confidence.

2. My institution, my college, felicitated me as a chief guest to inaugurate a debates club.

With these warm-up, I’m gearing up to create my blog “cbhmagic”. Soon I’ll be making it, rolling it out during our Quincentennial meeting(#500th meeting) of vTalk. Now do you get the rationale behind my topic cbhmagic?

Over to you Toast master of the day

Pathway Presentation mastery : Level4 – Project 1: Managing a difficult audience

THE MASSIVE MOUNTAIN

“Thoughts becomes things. If you see it in your mind, you will hold it in your hand. If you see it in your mind, you will hold it in your hand”, said Bob Proctor, a renowned success coach.

It was one fine sunday morning 6.30am, My kid was fast asleep and  I was reading. I was deeply engrossed in the book. the line I read – “Burnt and crust pan”. The moment that I read. “Burnt and crusty pan”. There was a burning smell hitting my nose. A sense of awe struck me, There was a spark. I rushed to the kitchen. Just to put off The flame, just to put off the boiling milk that went burnt and crusty. Yes, all your guesses are right, I was holding a burnt and a crusty pan that i did see in my mind.

Ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon. Today I am here to discuss with you my experience with manifestation.

Have you ever manifested? Yes. <Audience A >Can you share your experience about manifestation?

<Audience responded>

Yes, exactly. So today I am going to speak about three things. If you see, now three things are going to be handled in this interview:

1. What is manifestation?

2. How should we manifest?

3. Why should we manifest?

So the next few minutes is going to be about manifestation. And these three points are going to be covered.

Getting to What is manifestation? Manifestation is something as our beloved DTM Sudeesh was mentioning,

It is a technique of making your dreams come true.
It is a technique of bringing your desires into reality.
It is a technique of transforming your wishes into achievements by believing on it; by focusing on your thoughts, actions and feelings on achieving it.

But This is a wild explanation, isn’t it?. I am going to relate this with my experience. Not with the burnt and crusty  but with a massive mountain.

Months back, My friend,  RPriya was expressing her small byte sized spiritual awakening that she had  during the  glorious walk around the massive mountain on a full moon day. Do Anyone know the word that we call for a spiritual walk around a mountain on a full moon day ?

yeah we do call it as Girivalam in Tamil and The massive mountain that I refer here is Thiruvanamalai. For those who are not aware, Thiruvanamalai is a prominent, pilgrimage destination at Tamil Nadu. It is known for Annamalaiyar Temple and the massive mountain Annamalai.

Till June 2025 I neither had the time nor the energy to think about this glorious path. As you all know, we juggle. shuttle between the cities, breath between the sprints, juggle the work and life.

At the onset of June 2025 – There was a thought, why dont we go for a glorious walk?
ohoooo the full moon day falls on June 10 , Tuesday – its a working day- Definitely impossible.
We have office, we have meetings, we have schools and everything going on.
This thought went down . But again 2 or 3 days before June 10 it surges up about massive mountain.
I just called my fried Rpriya and asked if she could accompany.
To give you a history about myself and my friend  – Rpriya  & I have never been successful on attending any event. Either the event gets cancelled or we drop the plan just at the last moment. This is the cumulative energy we hold.
But still I did not mind that and wanted to manifest my desire of going round the massive mountain.
So thats what manifestation – We bring our desire into reality.

Now we are done with what is manifesting. Let us move on to how should we manifest.
Does anybody have any idea on how should we manifest?
<Ask anyone on how should we manifest ?>
<Address their points as it is assisting / denying your idea or fact>
So how should we manifest? This is a three-step process:

1. Express your desire. Did you have ever express your desire to anyone?
<Let audience speak>
Express your desire. Ask for what you really want. This is the first step.
2. Your thoughts, your actions, and your feelings. Every one of these three should align with your desire.
3. Be ruthless in believing that this is going to happen.

<People may interrupt you denying or accepting the fact. Try to address them soon or suggest catching them for an offline or discussion during TEA>

First thing, I did express my desire to my Friend that I am willing to go for a glorious walk. Thats the ask. And as I said, we have never been successful throughout the years of our friendship. I didn’t have any response from her. But still, I had that grounded understanding. I had a grounded belief that this will come true. I didn’t want to pester her. Just in one day in between, I was not ready to call her but  texted her.   “Hi RPriya, I manifest that we go on a glorious walk around that massive mountain on Tuesday, on a full moon, with peace, gratitude, and happiness with our Annamalaiyar’s blessings.”
But still, I didn’t get a message.

Pay attention here. My second one, my actions were inclined with my desire. I didn’t ask- Are you okay with it? I didn’t ask any kind of questions. I told her that I still believe that we are going on a glorious walk. Yet I didn’t get any response. But still, I believed that it is going to happen and continued to be happy.

So, that is what  – the ruthless understanding, ruthless belief of what is going on. And then That was the next day, something would have happened. Can anyone guess what would have happened? <Audience responded>

She gave a thumbs up and then she called me just one day before the full moon day and she told that yes we are on the plan , decided the agenda and  were ready for it. The next day the sun did rise, its a full moon day and it started… But hold on –  there is always twist in life to test your belief. What happened was –  a heavy rain. But still we manifested that we are going to get the umbrella, we are going to go around the mountain and enjoy.

And yes that happened as manifested – we were able to get around the mountain with gratitude, peace, happiness with his blessings. Altogether a great experience I would always carry with me.

My dear fellow Toast masters , These are the three steps that I did cover by using how should we manifest and I got my desire into reality.

Now going on to the third Q, why should we manifest?

<There was a question from audience – Friend A manifested to visit GOA with his Friend B. Friend B manifested not to visit GOA with Friend A. But Friend B succeeded.>

<My response was – Next time you follow these three points and let me know if it worked or not. Even if it did not work, there is some gap that we have to capture and we will discuss on the next meeting about that.>

So let us move on to the third. Why should we manifest?  What happens if you dont manifest?
Your mind wanders everywhere. Your thoughts go crazy and so does your actions and emotions.
But when we manifest, we are able to keep aware of our thoughts. We breathe away, we wither away and we throw away all the negativity. We don’t allow that negativity to defeat us. Eventually we cultivate positivity. Isn’t it? When you are aware of your thoughts:  when you think bad, whenever you think I am going to fall down- Yes You fall down.  From then on you monitor your thoughts and you make it clear that, yes, I am going to walk forward, walk straight, I am going to have my chin straight. That’s how we cultivate positivity.

In essence, we are making ourselves aware of our thoughts. We are getting our thoughts aware.
And last but not least, Be it a massive mountain or a minuscule issue; When we manifest properly, we can get around. Thank you.
