Good afternoon Fellow toast masters and Guests
Welcome to our vTalk Toast master meeting
I am delighted to have so many people joining us today .

This proves that beyond the realm of any reasons , we all want to hone our Leadership and communication skills through Toast master meeting
As our presiding officer mentioned we were conducting meetings with very few members
You believe it or not The relentless commitment of every member , the steadfast belief that we can grow has brought us so far and has also earned us a lot of credits and awards

Before we head into the theme , I want to outline the structure of Toast master meeting
Every Toast master meeting has 3 sections

1. Prepared speeches – Where Speakers prepare their speeches before hand and Perform
2. Table Topics speeches – Where our guest and everyone can volunteer to speak
3. Evaluation and Feedback – To identify our strength and areas of improvement

Our theme Today is : Believe it or not

 With the surge in technology , AI and ML be the buzzing word I am sure everyone would have tried to chat with any Generative AIs . They are simply superb. They are able to generate a well articulated response , give a summary of a content , help you in troubleshooting,
help you in preparing your speech and what not

Having said that , tell me whom do u believe to be smarter ?
Humans or Gen AI ?

I was much intrigued and curious to ask the same question to Claude.

Claude is a conversational AI owned by Anthropic
Claude responded with a prompt answer . Hold your horses.  Before diving into that I would like to introduce our General Evaluator of today’s meeting

Claude admitted that humans are super smarter because we Humans have genuine intelligence, can make intuitive leaps and creative connections

GENAI could be faster in calculation or data processing but that’s just computational power and not true intelligence

Humans have wisdom, judgement and intuition that no gen AI can match.

Its preposterous to think that

AI is smarter, AI would replace humans, AI would rule the world

 If you rewind – AIs are created by us. Invariably We humans are always powerful and smarter.
All that matters is whether We believe it or not .

Whether you believe it or not, Story has immense power to shape our mindset.
I would like to tell you a short story about a Legend who took India to greater heights

By early 19th century there lived a prominent Industrialist Mr.Ambalal at Gujarat.
Mr.Ambalal paved the way for the Montessori model school to debut in India.

He is Mr.Ambalal Sarabhai. And his son went on to become one of India’s greatest scientists…

Dr.Vikram Sarabhai

 Let me take you back to Vikram Sarabhai’s childhood.
As a young boy, Vikram noticed something.Every day, his father would receive many letters, Important letters, Business letters.

Little Vikram watched this closely.
And he thought—
“My father receives so many letters…
Why don’t I?”

Do you know what he did?
He began writing letters to himself, addressing himself as a renowned person and posted them.

Its just a small and simple act made out of curiosity but underpinned by a steadfast belief
That belief, the love for continuous  learning and exploration brought out the scientist in him and he is our Father of Indian space program.

Whether you believe it or not , believing in you is the first step to success.
With that let us move on to the next part of our Toast master meeting

whether we believe or not , whatever you believe is going to turn into reality
The belief we hold shapes the actions we take.
Spotting a bumpy path if you think, believe you would slip and fall flat, definitely you will
whereas if you think, believe that path can be navigated with care, then definitely you will

Whether you believe it or not, Your thoughts and believes turn real.
Reality may not be neatly framed as how you believed but the essence of your belief is the reality

 So lets always believe the best and leave the rest .

On that note, lets move on to the third part of our meeting. Evaluation and Feedback
